Involvement Coordinator – We’re Recruiting

We’re recruiting someone for the varied and exciting role of Involvement Coordinator on our Big Lottery Funded programme!

The Involvement Coordinator works at the heart of our learning programme and, for the last four years, has made sure that the voice of people experiencing multiple needs has provided direction, insight and crucially held Inspiring Change Manchester (ICM) to account.

Involvement happens across and at every level of our programme.  People who’ve experience of multiple needs are one of our three governance bodies, peer mentoring and working across the delivery and programme teams.  People who currently access the programme also go to the weekly service user forum, X-Change.  The Involvement Coordinator champions all of this internally and externally, working alongside colleagues to make sure that we contribute to the coproduction agenda on a local and national scale.

The Coordinator is employed by Shelter and based in the programme team.  They will often be based at Back on Track who provide Education, Training and Employment support to people on ICM.  Back on Track are just upstairs from ICM’s hub in Swan Buildings so the Coordinator is never far away from what’s happening.

This is a role for someone who has lived experience of multiple needs and a passion for inspiring people who are experiencing them.

Please contact Ben_Whalley@shelter.org.uk by email or phone on 0344 515 1595 to find out more.

The Closing date is on Sunday 20th May – read more and apply here.
